Arjan started taking his first photographs at an early age. With his first Nikon 35-mm camera he experimented with light and motion in a home 'studio' set-up. Many years later, his increasing interest in nature and travel intensified his photography work. Combining these passions turned out to be a true symbiosis.

With photography, Arjan tries to emphasize the natural beauty of objects and regions. In his opinion, even ordinary objects can be most fascinating when viewed at a different angle. Also, Arjan tries to tell a story with his images.

In the past years, Arjan has developed a well trained eye for light, composition and detail. He has more than 20 years of photography experience. His photo database consist more than 40.000 images.

Arjan's images have been nominated for international prizes. His photos are being sold in Europe, USA and Japan.
